Hi, I’m Georgia

MY STORY

How I got into design.

Margareth Georgia Garcia working at her desk early in her design career

I grew up in a family of musicians and artists, so creating things always came naturally to me. As a kid I loved colors, did well in art classes, and learned to play instruments. Making something out of nothing was just part of growing up in our house.

I’ve been designing for as long as I can remember. It started with MS Paint, then Photoshop, and by college I was already doing user interface design. I studied Computer Engineering, and that course taught me the technical side of design: how systems work and how to build things that hold up.

After a few years in tech, I made design my full-time career and grew from designer to creative lead. Today I’m a Senior Creative Designer, and I still work the way I learned in both worlds: with an artist’s eye and an engineer’s structure.

Design with purpose.
MY CREATIVE PHILOSOPHY

Good Design Goes Beyond the Tools.

I believe great design starts with curiosity, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of people and brands.

With experience across branding, digital experiences, UI/UX, and marketing, I approach every project with a balance of strategic thinking and visual craftsmanship.

I continuously explore emerging technologies and AI-powered workflows, not to replace creativity, but to expand what I can create and how I bring ideas to life.

For me, technology can accelerate the process, but creative judgment defines the outcome.

01

My approach to design

I start with the brief, the audience and the business goal, then set a clear visual direction before moving into detail. Every choice in type, color and layout has a reason behind it.

02

Creative problem-solving

I explore several directions early, compare them against the goal, and keep refining the strongest one until it reads clearly and feels distinctive.

03

Continuous learning

I keep studying new tools, workflows and design thinking, and test what is useful on real projects. What stays in my process is what improves the work.

HOW I WORK

What I believe in.

Three principles that guide every project, from a single social post to a full brand system.

01

Users first

Every decision starts with the people using the product. Research, accessibility, and clarity come before decoration.

02

Strategy to execution

I lead projects from the first brief to final delivery, so the thinking behind the design carries through every detail.

03

Built as systems

Design systems, brand guidelines, and AI-assisted workflows keep work consistent, efficient, and easy to scale.

BEYOND DESIGN

When I’m not designing.

I’m an artist at heart, and I never really stop creating. I paint in acrylic on almost any object, sew, and rework old clothes into new ones. I also love traveling the world, hiking, and joining fun runs, and I have a soft spot for animals. Feeding strays is part of my routine wherever I go.
